6 Questions Matt Bevin Needs to Answer About His Secretive Use of Taxpayer-Funded State Planes & Jets
Ahead of Matt Bevin’s press conference today, the Kentucky Democratic Party is calling on him to answer these six questions about his secretive use of taxpayer-funded state planes and jets.
This comes as Matt Bevin has been under fire for refusing to come clean and explain why and where he’s flying the taxpayer-funded state plane. After yesterday’s debate in Paducah, which Bevin flew to, he refused to answer four questions about his flight to Miami from the Louisville Courier-Journal, leading columnist Joe Gerth to state: “What. Is. He. Trying. To. Hide.”
6 Questions Matt Bevin Needs to Answer Today at His Press Conference:
- Why did you fly a taxpayer-funded state plane to Miami on August 28th?
- Why did you fly a taxpayer-funded state plane to Atlanta on September 4th?
- Why did you fly a taxpayer-funded state plane to Wisconsin and Chicago on July 31st?
- Why did your administration fly a taxpayer-funded state jet to New Mexico and New Jersey in the past week and who is on these flights?
- Why won’t you release the logs of who is on these secretive trips on taxpayer-funded state planes?
- Why did you tell Kentuckians that your flights on taxpayer-funded state planes are “none of their business”?
