Bevin is at it again on pensions
Earlier this year, thousands of teachers, first responders and state employees descended on the Capitol to send a message: fund our pensions, don’t cut our benefits.
This November, we have a chance to help carry their message by electing Democrats to take back out state from power hungry Republicans.
This week, the pension/sewer bill is in front of the Kentucky Supreme Court. But Gov. Bevin and his Republican friends are already saying that no matter what the court decides more “reform” is on the agenda for the 2019 session.
And if Republicans keep total control, they will claim a mandate to do worse than they already have. We have to stand up to them, together.
