Frankfort, Ky.—Today, Governor Andy Beshear endorsed Rachel Roarx’s state legislative campaign in House District 38. Rachel was elected State Representative for Kentucky House District 38 in November 2022 and began her service in January 2023.
“Rachel has a proven track record of working across the aisle to deliver results for her district,” said Governor Andy Beshear. “She’s been an essential partner in the General Assembly, and we need to send her back to Frankfort this November.”
“Ever since I’ve gotten to Frankfort, my sole focus has been on fighting for Kentuckians — never for a single political party or ideology,” said Representative Rachel Roarx. “Alongside Governor Beshear, I’ve been able to address the local needs that matter most to Southend families.”
As an experienced public servant focused on local needs, Rachel has worked to drive investment to the Southend community, including getting state roads paved, widened or redesigned, and finding solutions to traffic and accidents. In the General Assembly, she has improved support for public education and teachers, fought against attacks on labor unions, and expanded access to affordable health care.
Rachel Roarx has been endorsed by a number of organizations across Kentucky, including the Greater Louisville Central Labor Council, the Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), Better Schools Kentucky, and American Federation of Teachers Local 1360.
